There are many reasons to fly business class and this article will highlight just a few of the reasons you should consider upgrading to business class, especially if you fly often. Before continuing however, it’s good to note upfront that upgrading to business class is a lot more expensive than flying economy. However, if flying often is something you do, and if you can afford it, you’ll not regret flying business class.

Economy class is great for people who don’t fly very often. If you travel abroad perhaps once every year or two for a holiday or to visit friends or family, economy is the most affordable way to fly. However, you typically have to wait in long queues to board the plane, are sandwiched between several other people, you have little leg room and long hauls can be quite discomforting.

Business class however is much more about the little luxuries during a flight that can make all the difference to an enjoyable journey. You don’t have to be a business person to fly business class however, this section of the airplane is geared toward the busy, travelling professional who requires comfort and the ability to work whilst flying.

Business class offers you large, comfortable seating which can even recline up to 180 degrees allowing you to sleep through most of the flight. You’ll have space to setup your laptop to play games or write emails whilst in the air and free drinks and a great menu makes you feel like a VIP. You’ll get to board the plane before economy class passengers allowing you to get settled before the masses of people board the plane. So, if you can afford to pay for business class and fly more often than most, consider uprgrading to business class for a much more enjoyable flying experience.

If you travel often for business chances are you fly business class. If you don’t, you really are missing out on much more comfortable travel. Flying business class is designed to make business related travel not only comfortable but to allow a professional the space to either get work done mid flight or get some much needed rest. As always, a business class flight is a business expense and can be written off come tax time. You certainly don’t have to be a travelling business person to fly business class so if you are planning a very long haul flight for a holiday, you may want to consider flying business class simply for the added comfort.

Most major airlines offer business class flights. As a matter of fact, many are thinking of doing away with first class flights and just creating a luxury business class sometimes called premium class.

Some of the features of business class flights include:

1) Firstly you don’t board with the other passengers. You board first which saves you time and hassle.

2) Whilst waiting for your flight there is an executive lounge which is much more comfortable and private

3) The seating is the most notable difference. Each seat, sometimes called cradle seats are wider, much more comfortable and many recline between 160 and 180 degrees so you can take a nice long rest on long haul flights

4) Free drinks and a better menu

5) Better entertainment including audio and video, DVDs, etc.

Overall, the features of business class are designed to provide comfort as well as the ability to work so that business people can get more done whilst spending hours flying to the next meeting or conference.
